JUNE CAMP: Surf’s Up Ocean Discovery
Embark on an extraordinary journey through the Amazon rainforest where Art & STEM collide! In this unique summer camp, young explorers will discover the wonders of the world's largest rainforest through hands-on STEM activities and creative art projects.
Themes & Activities may include:
Under the Sea Art
Explore the vibrant world of coral reefs with watercolor or acrylic painting.
Discover the science of bioluminescence and chemical reactions then create glow in the dark art.
Create art based tidal wave patterns and textures inspired by tides and sea creatures.
Ocean Engineering
Design and build small submersible models (e.g., balloon-powered).
Learn buoyancy and water pressure in a playful, hands-on experiment.
Teach basic structural principles by having kids design and build sturdy sandcastles.
And so much more! Our activities are radically student centered based on skill level, interests and aptitude; it may change.

• Time: 9am-12:30pm OR 9am-2:30pm
• Bring a lunch & water bottle.
