JULY CAMP: Rock Star Academy
Transform into rock legends at this high-energy camp that explores the art, culture, and science of rock music! Young rockers will discover different music genres, create album art, learn about famous musicians, and understand the science behind sound—all while developing their own creative style.
Themes & Activities may include:
Rock Through the Decades
Explore how album art evolved from the 1950s to now then remix it with mix media.
Make retro-inspired band logos.
Genre Art Explosion, create posters based off the different genres from “Glam Rock to Punk Rock to Blues Rock.
Make concert ticket designs and backstage passes.
Sound Science & STEM Lab
Build simple instruments from recycled materials
Design stage layouts, set themes, and learn set design.
Design & build simple lighting effects.
And so much more! Our activities are radically student centered based on skill level, interests and aptitude; it may change.

• Date: 7/7-7/11
• Time: 9am-12:30pm OR 9am-2:30pm
• Bring a lunch & water bottle.
