JULY CAMP: Stars + Stripes, 4th of July
Celebrate Independence Day through an exciting blend of patriotic art projects and hands-on STEM experiments! Young patriots will explore the science behind fireworks, discover American innovations, and create festive art while learning about American history and traditions.
Themes & Activities may include:
American Art
Learn about famous American Artists of the past and today, to then remix to create their own art.
Discover how Americans influence art around the globe, specifically Minimalism and Pop Art.
Kids will enjoy creating 4th of July, Freedom inspired crafts to enjoy at our local parade. May include pin wheels, pennant flags and banner.
Red, White and Blue Engineering
Kids learn about famous American Engineers and their significant impact on technology then make colonial-era toys and games.
Create "fizzing fireworks" using baking soda and vinegar, cardboard poppers using recycled materials and more!
Design and build marble runs using red, white, and blue materials.
And so much more! Our activities are radically student centered based on skill level, interests and aptitude; it may change.

• Time: 9am-12:30pm OR 9am-2:30pm
• Bring a lunch & water bottle.
