JULY CAMP: Fashion Design + Personalize It!
Discover the exciting world of fashion design through hands-on creative projects! Young designers will learn basic design principles, explore fashion as an art form, and create their own personalized accessories. From sketching, creating collections to sewing basics, campers will develop skills while expressing their unique style including personalizing accessories.
Because producing custom items takes a long time to produce, we are currently enrolling only Full Week Full Day, Full Week Half Day and Full Day options.
Themes & Activities may include:
Fashion Design Basics & Art
Explore basic sketching techniques, study color theory and patterns, create mood boards and explore different fabric types.
Learn about inspiration sources and develop concepts.
Discover Textile Art & Design, Fabric painting techniques and more!
Personalization Station & Design Lab
Sketch & design custom patches &/or tshirts.
Make fabric badges and iron-on appliques
Customize small accessories: hair clip, tote, etc.
Learn how to heat press tools.
Bring in your own accessory too!
And so much more! Our activities are radically student centered based on skill level, interests and aptitude; it may change.
