JUNE CAMP: Amazon Rainforest Adventures
Embark on an extraordinary journey through the Amazon rainforest where Art & STEM collide! In this unique summer camp, young explorers will discover the wonders of the world's largest rainforest through hands-on STEM activities and creative art projects.
Themes & Activities may include:
Ecosystem Exploration
Study geometric patterns in nature and create tribal-inspired art
Design camouflage art projects while learning about adaptation
Learn & Create Mathematical patterns in nature studies
Rainforest Engineering
Design & build miniature tree houses using sustainable materials
Create working pulley systems to transport "supplies" through the canopy
Design & build rain catchers while learning about the water cycle
And so much more! Our activities are radically student centered based on skill level, interests and aptitude; it may change.
