SPARK Labs: Art & Intro to Snap Circuits
Young makers will explore the exciting intersection of art and engineering by combining artistic expression with hands-on circuit-building in our Art & Intro to Snap Circuits class . Kids will learn the basics of electrical circuits using Snap Circuits kits, discovering how to connect lights, sounds, and even simple motors. Then, they’ll apply these skills to make unique, interactive art projects that light up, buzz, or move!
Through guided activities and imaginative challenges, students will gain confidence in both STEM and art principles while developing problem-solving skills, teamwork, and creativity. This fun-filled class is perfect for budding artists and young engineers alike, encouraging them to think like inventors and create like artists!
What to Expect, may include:
- Weekly Themes: Each week, we will highlight popular Snap Circuit builds. We will work from basics to medium complex builds.
- Creations: Builds that include sound, motion and lights.
- Skill Development: Kids will develop a range of valuable skills that support both their artistic growth and foundational engineering concepts. In hopes to gain: Engineering Mindset, Design Thinking, Assembly Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Sequential Thinking and more!
