SPARK Art: Bluey, Octonauts + Mix Media

Join us for a creative adventure where Bluey and the Octonauts inspire our imaginations and bring our artistic dreams to life! Designed for young artists aged 5-7 years old, this class will explore various art techniques and materials, encouraging imagination and storytelling through art.
 
What to Expect:
Weekly Themes: Each week, we will embark on a new adventure inspired by Bluey and her family or the underwater escapades of the Octonauts.
Creative Techniques: Children will experiment with drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture, using materials like watercolors, pastels, clay, and recyclable items.
Character Creations: Kids will create their own versions of favorite characters, design new creatures and settings, and craft stories that bring their artwork to life.
Skill Development: Focus on fundamental art skills such as color mixing, shape recognition, fine motor coordination, and spatial awareness in a fun, engaging way.
Interactive Play: Activities will include interactive storytelling, group projects, and games that promote teamwork and social skills.
 
Highlights:
Bluey Days: Create vibrant scenes from Bluey's backyard, craft Bluey's family members with various materials, and make playful art inspired by the show's everyday adventures.
Octonauts Underwater Exploration: Dive into the ocean to create colorful marine life, design imaginative sea creatures, and build models of the Octonauts' vehicles and habitats.
 
Materials Provided: All necessary art supplies will be provided, including paints, brushes, paper, glue, scissors, clay, and more. Kids are encouraged to bring their imagination and a willingness to explore!
 
Ages: 5-7 years old
Dates: Mondays in August & September - 8/19, 8/26, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30.
